Overview

You must exercise your body as often as the children exercise their bodies.

And you must eat variety of foods and fruits as a child does.

 

Children And Exercises

The youths and adults should maintain regular exercise, just as the children do. You notice that the life the children is interwoven with exercises, from day to day or from time to time. Often, you see a child playing, dancing, running or jumping up and down, tumbling or rolling himself on the ground. The spirit of exercise is in full possession and control of the children. Even where there is nothing to play with, you find children acting many playful activities.

 

The Purpose Of Work

Often, people say that God caused Adam and Eve with labour, saying,

 

"Cursed is the ground for your sake;

In toil you shall eat of it

All the days of your life.

Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you,

And you shall eat the herb of the field.

In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread

Till you return to the ground,

For out of it you were taken;

For dust you are,

And to dust you shall return."

 

The above statement of curses is not true, because God never caused Adam and Eve.

 

The purpose of work is for humanity to energize and exercise their bodies, in addition to many other benefits, which includes foods and drinks, hides and skins, woods and medicines, etc. If God had cursed man to till the ground, and if God had cursed the ground, then God would not be accepting harvest offerings and thanksgivings, which people bring to His temple and holy places.

 

Comparison

Send a youth or adult to get something, he will just walk to the place and bring what you want. But send a child, and the child will make his going out and coming in full of playful exercises.

He moves out to the court and turns round, doing ‘aeroplane turner.’

He stops at the gate to do parade and salute, while crossing the gate.

He runs to the main road, only to come to a sudden halt, in order to avoid the vehicles.

Soon, he is dancing along the way, as if there are no people seeing him.

He stops at a tree, to hold the tree and move round it two or three times, before continuing on the errand.

Next, you see him pick up stones to throw at the grasses and lizards.

 

When he is alone, he would roll over, tumble or move under the tables and chairs, or make several attempts to climb a tree. By the time he completes all these things, he has done a series of rigorous exercises, which keeps his body very flexible.

 

Wrong Assumption

When you become a youth or an adult, the general tendency is to stop all childish plays, because humanity see such plays as demeaning, belittling. But that is not true. The God who endowed the children’s bodies with various kinds of exercises knows beter and He is wiser than man.

 

Many Benefits Of Exercise

Therefore, no matter how busy people tend to be, they must afford time for exercises, because of the following benefits of exercises:

Spiritual Aspect

You must continue to abide in the paths of righteousness and Covenant System Of Worship, especially by studying Yahweh’s Book Of Life and Spiritual Science, by staying in the presence of God and by observing quiet time and meditation.
